Section 5 (Security Control Measures for Personal Information)

HKSTUDIE takes appropriate organizational, physical, and technical safety control measures to prevent unauthorized access to personal information, loss, destruction, falsification, leakage, etc. of personal information, and to manage personal information safely. In order to achieve the above purposes, HKSTUDIE may take the following measures。

Section 6 (Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties)

Section 8 (Correction and Termination of Personal Information)

1. In cases where the customer claims that the personal information held by HKSTUDIE is incorrect, they may request HKSTUDIE to correct, add, or delete (hereinafter referred to as ” correction”.) their personal information in accordance with the procedures set by HKSTUDIE.

2. Upon receiving a request from a customer as described in the above paragraph, we will make corrections to the relevant personal information immediately in cases where we consider it necessary to comply with such a request.

3. When we make any correction, etc. based on the preceding paragraph, or decide not to make any correction, etc., we will notify the customer of such decision immediately.

Section 9 (Termination of Use of Personal Information)

1. If any of the following cases applies to personal information and a customer requests that the Company terminate the use of such information or delete such information (hereinafter referred to as “termination of use, etc.”), the Company will conduct the necessary investigation immediately.

(1) Cases in which handling of the information exceeds the stated purpose of use.

(2) If the information was obtained by improper measures.

(3) In cases of improper disclosures to third parties.

(4) In the cases where inappropriate use is made.

(5) In cases where HKSTUDIE no longer needs to use the personal information.

(6) In cases where HKSTUDIE is required by law to report to the Personal Information Protection Commission due to leakage of personal information, etc.

(7) In other cases where there is a risk of harm to the rights or legitimate interests of the customer

2. upon determining, based on the results of the investigation described in the above paragraph, that it is necessary to comply with the request, the use of the relevant personal information will be discontinued immediately.

3. When we decide to terminate the use of the Personal Information in accordance with the above provision, or decide not to terminate the use of the Personal Information, we will notify you immediately.

4. Notwithstanding the above two paragraphs, in cases where it is difficult to take such measures as termination of use due to the huge expense involved or other reasons, and alternative measures can be taken as necessary to protect the rights and interests of the customer, these alternative measures shall be taken.

Section 10 (Disclosure of Personal Information)

1. When HKSTUDIE are requested by customers to disclose personal information, HKSTUDIE will disclose such information to the customers themselves in writing or by providing electromagnetic records immediately. However, HKSTUDIE may decide not to disclose all or part of the information when disclosure would result in any of the following cases, and when HKSTUDIE decide not to disclose the information, HKSTUDIE will notify the customer immediately. In addition, in cases where it is difficult to disclose the information by the disclosure method designated by the customer, such as when disclosure would require a huge amount of expense, the information will be disclosed in writing.

(1) When there is a risk of harm to the lives, bodies, properties, or other rights or interests of our customers or third parties

(2) In cases where there is a risk of significant disruption to the proper conduct of our business

(3) In cases where it would result in the violation of other laws and regulations.
