HKS Co., Ltd. is one of the world’s largest aftermarket parts manufacturers, founded in 1973, starting from the development and manufacturing of engine parts including racing engines, and has been producing various racing and tuning cars and promoting the sales of each of the parts globally.
Studie AG is the largest BMW aftermarket company, established in 1995 as a specialty shop focusing on BMW, now operating shops in seven major cities in Japan and running “BMW M Team Studie” as the “BMW M OFFICIAL Team”.
These two companies have teamed up to create a brand that will dramatically and attractively enhance the driving experience of BMW M users around the world by accumulating HKS’ development methods and technical skills and Studie AG’s insight and knowledge of the global BMW market.
This is the new brand “HKSTUDIE”.
As “JDM” is gaining momentum around the world, there are many modification styles and processes which have a unique taste of Japanese “Tuning”. We plan to make the best use of them in the BMW M market and develop them to match BMW M all over the world.

HKS Co., Ltd. has established a culture of “tuning” in the automotive industry by developing and providing high-performance products starting with turbo kits for street-use passenger cars, which were released right after its foundation, and expanding to exhaust, coilover, engine parts, electronic control parts and so on. We will continue to develop high quality products that make every car enthusiast excited and satisfied.
We at Studie AG are a company that provides broader and deeper services from a variety of perspectives with the aim of improving BMW culture in Japan.
We strive to respond more precisely to customer needs in a new format that removes the unique boundaries of the Japanese automobile industry, such as dealers, repair shops, tuning shops, and sheet metal painting factories.
